Hiking trails, water trails, observation sites and
interpretive signage help visitors discover the magnificence
of the natural environment. Bring your picnic basket and
enjoy lunch aside Lake Kanpp!
Come, explore the magnificence of the Chesapeake Bay from our 510 acre waterfront campus of native watershed habitats, surrounded by the waters of Hog Bay, Prospect Bay, Marshy Creek and Cabin Creek. Five miles of hiking trails and an established canoe trail are dotted with educational signage, observation towers, and blinds. Over 200 species of birds stop here annually.
Memberships provide free, year-round admission, free canoe and kayak rentals, discounts on programs, a subscription to our newsletter and an enlightening experience with each visit.
Memberships support our programs of environmental education, stewardship, research and restoration to benefit the Chesapeake Bay and all of its species.
