Chesapeake Bay Waterfowl Art Auction

Scheduled for May 1, 2009 - May 10, 2009

The Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center is proud to be able to offer for auction an extensive and exquisite collection of Chesapeake Bay artwork.

This auction is intended to raise much needed funds to help the Center continue to deliver it's vital programs to the community.

For a complete description of the Center's mission, click here. For more information about the various programs offered by the Center, click here and browse our Restoration, Education and Conservation pages.

The artwork included in this auction includes oil paintings, watercolors , prints, pen and ink drawings, and a life-sized Great Blue Heron carving.

The artwork is all Collector Quality, most are signed originals and all are beautifully and professionally framed.

The artwork has all been contributed to the Center through the years by generous benefactors, and all labor associated with hosting the auction is donated to the Center by volunteers, so you can be sure that all proceeds from the auction will be fully devoted to furthering the Centers mission.

As the Center is a qualified 501 (c)(3) not for profit organization, bid amounts higher than the set minimum bid prices can be tax deductable. The Center will be happy to provide supporting tax documentation upon request by winning bidders.

This is a unique opportunity to help the restoration of the Chesapeake Bay while acquiring distinctly beautiful artwork produced by esteemed and talented local artists.

Bid early, bid often, but, most importantly, show your support for the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center's mission.
